LSM – Registered Apprentice Plumber / Gasfitter

LSM Lee’s Sheet Metal (2007) Ltd is looking to fill the following position:

The Registered Apprentice Plumber/Gasfitter shall fulfil general fabrication and installation duties, working under the direction of a Journeyman. The projects are usually custom ordered to meet the needs of the project. They shall be responsible for performing fabrication and installation duties as requested, which include, but are not limited to:

Communicate with customers & co-workers in a friendly, courteous & professional manner.

Enforcement and compliance of rules, regulations & policies as set out by LSM, Occupational Health & Safety, and other governing authorities as may be applicable.

Receive specific training to perform tasks more commonly associated to working with plumbing.

Follow Job Procedures and Safe Work Practices to assist in completing the tasks asked of you in a safe manner.

Perform a variety of plumbing/gasfitting installation processes to fill the needs, specifications and quality requirements of the customer.

Ensure a complete record of your “Time” and the “Materials” you have used.

Ensure a safe, clean work area. A certain amount of “clean-up” is expected as a part of that project and the time charged to the project.

Attend safety and toolbox meetings, perform required safety inspections and participate in the safety program.

Pay ranges from $18.50 to $29.60 depending on experience
